According to players, who own Pokemon X and Y, the Exp. Share has been reworked to benefit the entire party, similar to how it was in Red and Blue, with a twist: Pokemon, that didn't partake in the battle, recieve half the total experience each.
That increases the total experience and allows your party to remain useful even without too much extra grinding. The level of your Pokemon will always be relatively even, which makes training your magikarps and others so much more relaxing.
As a consequence of every team member recieving Exp. they will all recieve a pretty even spread in EVs, but that is what certain berries are for. You can use the vast space of the Berry Vista to produce EV regulating berries and your pokemon will love you for it.
If you want to accumulate certain EVs, there is always the option to turn off the Exp. Share and grind for certain kinds of EVs.
Teambuilding would be greatly accelerated, thanks to the new Exp. Share.
There is just one question: Is the new Exp share appropriate for Pokemon 3D?
Do you think that leveling would be too fast, or that the item has the inherent danger of making the game too easy? If so, is that inherently a bad thing? What about online PvP?
