What is you favorite generation?

Probably Gen. 2 because it includes the best Pokemon (in my opinion), and because it is a direct sequel to the originals, a concept that hasn't been brought back until Pokemon Black 2 and White 2...

i still got my silver one but teh thing is they used the same battery that keeps the save ram alive to power a little clock and it ran itself down after a few years the cart doesnt retain saves once turned off.

I feel so close. I still have my silver too. Sometimes I just plug in my SP and play without turning it off

i lost all my pokemans from my first blue version playthrough i traded up to it.

Just replace the battery inside, that's what I did for all my old cartridges, it'll last like another 10 years.

Gen 1 followed by Gen 2 after that I lost interest in pokemon

Gen3 was like a huge move for me. They had alot of excellent pokemon to add to the family

I chose Gen III because it brought the largest number of my favourites in. I could roll dice for my starter and be happy with the result any way. Also the first generation where the plot caught my interest.
