It's both the fact that I don't like some of the designs, because others are great like genesect and Haxor, and the fact that i'm a bit..err....under funded atm

Atleast they are trying to maintain its originality. But that's not the point. Every gen has Pokémon that sucked. They lost some inspiration in that gen and I agree, but I doubt one or 2-3 Pokémon is what ruins the whole Pokémon experience for you. Just avoid them, destroy them in battle and don't even give a single damn about them and it should be the same, right?

As stated, some are cool, some aren't. Every gen is the same.

There are some cool gen 5 pokemon but 4 was the limit in my opinion. Then again the last game i've played was emerald...
