If you could Start the Game with any Pokemon who would it be?

So not too far off from me, relatively the same type adv. and dis adv. We both agree that Charizard is a dragon, but disagree on the grass type starter rule. I was always the kid who got his pokemon handed to him on a silver flaming platter, because everyone always took charizard, or quilava; or torchic. So I always had to be tactical. I got mad respect for bulbasaur and chickorita, nuff said.

Lol you Got MAd respect from me I hate grass types normally,(other than sceptile) they just never had that power factor and they were week to to many things I always went for the water types because almost every game has a strong fire type later on so water is the way I went in my games.. plus who doesnt what a Turtle/Alligator/Penguin/what ever the hell swampert is? Lol Swampert was a boss

Yea, but why have a turtle/penguin/alligator, when you can have a massive Island. Also, grass types are more technical and level up faster, and have lots of regenerative abilities. Big selling point for grass types, should I even have to say it? Celebi.

They're easy though. Just make sure to get an onix to beat falkner

Using chikorita and any other pokemon I choose=no trades though/ no rock types... are those terms acceptable?

My favorite starter is probably Typhlosion. Infernape is also pretty cool, and I'm almost definitely gonna pick Fennekin, but i actually don't use Fire type starters often, with the exception of Typhlosion. In fact, I love Swampert and Blaziken, but I've never picked them, instead going for Sceptile, and usually I pick Empoleon since I never like Turtwig to start with and I just didn't bother with Chimchar.
