I could help out with the map. I'll probably have as much time as darkfire. I can map and script. Although, dialogue is not my best area. So, If you want a certain event, I will need some type of manuscript. I can use the map editor and I'm not too bad at it either.

Also, as for the excel Idea, that is great, but make it like a drafter would. Do a top view, then do like a front view, so i can see some extra features of how tall you want the houses and stuff like that. If you want my help, of course.

Doesn't the manga have an Orange Island? Pretty sure most of the games are based on the manga as I've heard?

no the manga doesn't have an orange islands(it has the seviis though which are close....)

As a die hard Pokemon manga fan, I am afraid you are incorrect!! First comes the games. Then comes the manga, then comes the show. Inbetween Johto and Hoenn, The manga writer wrote about the sevii islands. The show decided to create their own area, called the Orange Islands.

Isnt that the point really? I could do my best with what I have but either way it be good to have special textures that I would need

Na the patch is for gba, Pokémon Firered so yea I can check if one was made for a gbc game but its unlikely.

That file you posted is in .gb extension, firered in rom form follows a .gba extension....
