Can you breed legendary Pokemon (Ho-oh, Entei, Raikou, Mew)

I am trying to breed a Ho-oh with a ditto, but it is not working. Is what I am trying to do possible or am I wasting my time.

As Tornado9797 said you can't, but there was time we could do that via bug/mistake in Pokemon 3D.
