Question on breeding Pokemon with Ditto

Lord Rathan

Pokémon Ranger
One irritating, yet technically accurate mechanic I noticed in the original games was that if, say a female pokemon was bred with ditto, only female pokemon would be recieved from the eggs. I'd like to ask if this is the same in this game, as the prospect of fighting another 200 pokemon at the trees in route 26 to find another male ralts (which have a habit of using teleport) is... less than appealing. Thanks for the future help!

Nope, it's not that every hatchling would be a female, it's just that the species of the hatchlings would be the same as the mother.
For example, A male Pikachu with a female Eevee will always result in Eevee eggs, both females and males (12.5% females and 87.5% males)
Now, when breeding with a ditto, the hatchling will always be the same as the other Pokemon with their own chances of being male or female.
