Hoenn suggestions

-you move to hoenn with your mum.
-you only will leave with one pokémon for reasons of weight. (this poke will be level 5 when you arrive)
-pokédex fall and breaks when you arrive and you must visit professor Birch to have a new one.
-pc isn't connected with other regions until you repair the pc machine with rubi and sapphire gemstones, then the cientist will be seting up the pc and when you complete the league, the 2 pc storages will be connected
-the ferry will be in manteinace so you can't travel again to johto/kanto
-you can create a secret base

Sounds cool to me except for the pc thing: I want to ask does that include the pokemon storage system as well or do you have to wait for after the champion to get access to all your old pokemon?

What will most likely happen is (or how I think it would be), Hoenn would have its own PC storage system, and you'll have the ability to go between regions (back to kanto/johto with its own storage system),

you must find this gemstones (sapphire and rubi) like fire red, then the cientist will be setting up the pc, then complete the league to connect the two pc storages (the hoenn pc nd johto/kanto)

To everyone who makes suggestions about Hoenn, you are forgetting something important, Not only Hoenn would still not come before months from now, It won't get added at once, you'll still have to wait for weeks to get a new city or area per update, much like how it is for Kanto at the moment.

Easy, you won`t be able to travel to kanto/ johto because the ferry is on manteinance. when you complete the league, you will be able to travel.

The problem is..... You know once you change region, how you come back to the original region if you cannot travel much and update takes time ( even if darkfire edit my maps away )

You will have nothing to do and just waitz

So if your pokemon starts at level 5, its going to annoy alot of people who have level 100's and seeing as the other pokemon will be in your PC (if they will be with your idea.) it would be pointless anyway, I just think it should carry on from where it left off, and even if your idea went through where u can go back to kanto/johto, you can just train your pokemon from level 5 to like 50+ by going into the elite 4 once.

Its a good Idea but, where everyone wont be in hoenn its gonna make it hard to help people out by guiding them through things, also, why not just start with no pokemon for reasons of weight and get a random starter from any region just to liven it up a bit so everyones game will be different.

I thought of it by reading your post and thought, why not take a questionnaire to decide which pokemon you recieve, it will make it fun and have more opportunities for breeders.
