Not a bug [Indev 0.49.1] Stuck in Goldenrod Dept Store.

Please note that this is not the Goldenrod Underground, but the Dept store itself where the Machoke move the boxes. I had picked up the item that was in one of the rooms that is normally blocked off and saved as I had gotten into a habit of doing as the game crashes at the worst times. As What I just said was true, it crashed two minutes later, and now I am stuck in the room with four crates in the bottom left(facing away from the elevator) with no way to get out. I have tried an escape rope, and teleport and dig cannot be used yet.

What I expected to happen:
To be able to leave if it had crashed

What actually happened:
My character is now stuck in eternal misery.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Save in the area mentioned above
2. restart the file
3.Profit

Keep leaving the game and coming back online; the boxes should move each time you do so. One of the times should permit you to escape.
