Fixed [Indev 0.49.1] Protect Not Working Properly

Describe the bug you experienced here.

What I expected to happen:
Use Protect against a two turn move and not receive damage (Razor Wind)

What actually happened:
got hit on the coming turn, extending the Two turn attack

Steps to reproduce:
1. have a pokemon with Protect
2. Use Protect on a pokemon thats attacking with a two turn move.(Razor Wind)
3. and see the results.

this will be problematic with an example of Bide. assuming it'll hit too.

Can you please note down the moves and in what order they got used?
Since when it's, as you described,

• ROUND 1
  
• (you) Protect
• (opp) Razorwind charge
• ROUND 2
  
• (you) some other move
• (opp) Razor Wind

Then I don't see the problem.

no, use protect on the second turn.
the first turn is getting Razor Wind ready. then on the second turn use Protect. and on that turn it shouldnt hit. but on the following turn, it hits.

I think what he is saying is like this :

• ROUND 1
• (you) some other move
• (opp) Razorwind charge
• ROUND 2
• (you) Protect
• (opp) Razor Wind
• the move hits.

yes, but the opponent uses razor wind on the third turn and it hits. as if it was ready. which it shouldnt because the move should reset on the third turn. also other moves wont work right, for example Doom Desire always hits regardless of Protect.

i suppose the issue isnt Protect but Razor Wind itself

Edit: on further testing, this is how it turns out every time.

Player: Random Attack
Opponent: Razor Wind Readys
Player: Protect
Opponent: Razor Wind Blocked
Player: Protect
Opponent: Razor Wind Connects and Damages Player
