I do not think it will be a good idea for now since we have past experience that even a person own it... It eventually goes down forever.

Plus a server could not handle player properly which makes player not to use server at all. ( Maybe when nilllzz release the new server launcher, we would consider again )

(This is just my opinion on the matter, the decision is up to you)

I think ventrilo is not suited for Pokemon3D since it's not an MMO, you just use the chat to.....well, chat, there are no strategies to be discussed over voice chat (like in MMO's or FPS games).
Many people don't even know of alternative servers or the existence of these forums (Pokemon3D.net), they just find about the game from GameJolt.com , Imagine how many people will even know of the ventrilo server.
There's also the fact that most players who play the game don't speak english very well (they don't even type it very well ) considering that this game is not region-locked and the age requirement of this game is +3.

Also, the mods/admins/dev have their own skype group, I don't think they need a ventrilo server.

I considered the fact that not all would speak English that is why I would need a few admins who speak a few different things, as I can speak en , jp, and some kr. and I would make rooms for these types of players , and bashing on someone for how they talk would be a instant bann, but I see your point inless a good handful would tell me yes about this Ill just save $20-50 a month. •✿ ƸӜƷ ..*¨`*•.大 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
