Suggestion List - Would be a dream come true

The follow suggestions are some ideas picked up while playing the game, and the desire of improving the game - making it the worlds most extravagant game - forced me to write them down. The ideas are to give you an average trend on what is most desired.

So here they are:
  • Free movement
  • Attacks' animations
  • Sound Effects for evolution, attacking, events, e.t.c.
  • More mystery passways/ rooms/ gifts/ events/ pokemon encounters
  • More than 4 moves. So as to give more gravity to non offensive moves such as foresight, thunder wave, hypnosis(which are not often prefered amongst the top 4 moves to beat an enemy, but thinking of an actual battle, they are mandatory of a win)
  • Introduce a stamina bar. Moves like hyper beam, solar beam (yes rest can be applied as attacking second -for sure/ for the next 5 turns- the next rounds) making it more realisting (maybe have a baseline at which a pokemon can't avoid/critically hit).
    • Plus for a long/ tiresome battle award extra exp.
  • In battle evolution
  • When asleep not able to follow
  • Size, how rare one pokemon is and it's nature must count in battle and pokemon overview
  • Extremely harder to beat pokemon (More exp then for a single pokemon)
  • When faded must be able to throw a pokeball!!! As it is actually supposed to be. - The pokemon may get out of the pokeball restoring some of it's hp/ more difficult to beat equalizes the better chances of catching a faded pokemon -
  • Introduce a constant (with respect to pokemon's size, level and how rare it is) that would strengthen the wild pokemon, but not help the player's ones. Also increase the enemy's pokemon critical hits
    • Pokemon's size, level and how rare they are should absolutely cound in battle and attacking/ defensive pointing. E.G.: A tackle from a wailord/ onix/ groudon mustn't match an eevee's tackle.
  • The legendary must be legendary difficult to defeat(Maybe miss often, more critical hits, high hp as should be) not entirely because of their level
  • Rebattle trainers. When rebattled the pokemon level should be the same as the players current badge level or beyond.
  • In-game trading for trading-only pokemon evolution(introduce levels for trading, maybe can't trade wilst few badges/ low pokemon level/ must complete a task/ beat a certain trainer/ find a certain pokemon/ )
  • More trainers/ more regions/ more chalenges/ more rare pokemon involment in story (events)
  • Battle backround = backround of the exact current location
  • Atmost importance: fast text messages/ faster pokemon-centre healing/ faster battle process(fewer notifications) but do not limit attack animation-scene.
  • More music tracks/ enrich the story's sounds
  • Pokemon's shape should influence effectiveness. E.g.: the slimy body of muc should be resistand against body-related kicks/ pounches/ or anything that wont show the same aftereffects when hit thick mud
  • Terminate the trainers calling interruptions

Thanks for the suggestion, here are a few rambly comments on them:
  • Attack animations: Those are planned, just not priority right now as they require lots of resources to make.
  • Free movement: The maps in the game are not made for Free Movement. We tested it with 8-Way movement, which already confused or opened ways to cheat or not trigger events etc. Basically, the maps are built to be used with the 4-way movement scheme.
  • Sound effects: As the game development goes, we are adding little details like sound effects in the game once we are done with major features. For example, in the next version of the game, I implemented ledge jumping sound effects.
  • More mystery passways etc: We already have a lot of mystery places in the world, called Hidden Grottos. Also, there are two completely new locations in the game that were not in any Pokémon game before. We are also planning to add a few more of these.
  • More than 4 moves/Stamina Bar/In-battle evolution/Catch defeated Pokémon/Wild Pokémon get stronger with the player/harder legendary battles: Those are suggestions that work against the grand style of the Pokémon games and won't make it into the default GameMode. However, it might be possible that we add an option to the game that will enable other GameModes to implement a few of those features. If you want to make the game harder, try setting the difficulty in the options menu.
  • When asleep not able to follow: I am assuming you mean the following Pokémon with that. I know that it might be more realistic when this happens, but the Pokémon is still in the player's party and will be able to battle when the trainer gets to the next patch of grass. Same goes for item uses. You won't need to leave your Pokémon in the dust if you don't have an awakening on you. Pokémon games are really forgiving handling the defeat of Pokémon.
  • Rebattle trainers: This is already possible with the Pokégear Phone feature.
  • In-Game trading: There won't be any in-game trading with NPCs aside from the pre defined trades in the game. You can however trade evolve your Pokémon by using a local server and creating a second profile.
  • More trainers/regions/challenges/legendary Pokémon: This is exactly what we are working on, it's just that these are not exactly easy to develop. They take their time.
  • Battle background resembling the current location: The battle maps are there to cover the problem of having an area that won't suit the battle in the overworld. For example small caves or narrow and small houses can't be transformed into a battle map by a program, nor can be used directly as battle map.
  • Fast text messages: You can make text messages go by faster by setting the text speed setting in the options menu.
  • More music tracks: The game uses the original music from the G/S/C games. You can however install a Content Pack with music you can download from here, or make your own Content Pack that will play your music (It's really easy and requires no coding skills).
  • Terminate the trainers calling interruptions: There will be a feature for removing the numbers from your Pokégear in the future.
  • Muk's slime body and similar: This is where abilities come into play. Sure, they aren't as exact as you described the feature, but cover this well actually while not being overpowered or unbalanced.

I will below address all of the ones that are viable options as anything I "ignore" would be a fundamental change to the way Pokemon works and that is not what we are trying to do....
Also a number of your ideas are taken into account by the base stats of each Pokemon
  • Rebattle trainers. When rebattled the pokemon level should be the same as the players current badge level or beyond.
  • Attacks' animations
  • Sound Effects for evolution, attacking, events, e.t.c.
  • More trainers/ more regions/ more chalenges/ more rare pokemon involment in story (events)
  • More mystery passways/ rooms/ gifts/ events/ pokemon encounters
  • More music tracks/ enrich the story's sounds
The game is still being made(we are on version 0.46.2 which means we havent even released the Alpha yet(1.0)) so keep waiting most of these are planned ;)
  • When asleep not able to follow
Nilllzz's answer is good ;)
  • In-game trading for trading-only pokemon evolution(introduce levels for trading, maybe can't trade wilst few badges/ low pokemon level/ must complete a task/ beat a certain trainer/ find a certain pokemon/ )
There are multiple ways to trade right now and there is an entire board for organizing trades(evolution trades even have their own thread) trade evolutions were nintendo's way to push social gaming and we fully support that view.
  • Battle backround = backround of the exact current location
Some places dont have a good spot for battles(the camera would clip through the scenery) and making unique battle maps is not exactly simple and not really worth the effort(maps that are extremely different have their own battle maps but maps that are rather similar dont need their own battle maps.)
  • Atmost importance: fast text messages/ faster pokemon-centre healing/ faster battle process(fewer notifications) but do not limit attack animation-scene.
speeding up text might be a thing we do but other wise speeding up otherthings further will make the game look bad(try speeding up a GB game on VBA and see that it doesnt exactly look all that good....)
  • Terminate the trainers calling interruptions
We might do this eventually. Maybe. We'll see.

I was wondering if it would be feasible to let players get poke-balls faster so that the original pokemon that you choose wouldn't end up being too overpowered for the better-most part of Johto. And also I might be in the wrong thread but I kept glitching when geodude used rollout, and when I tried to get to the end of the Ecruteak city GYM it always glitched me back to the entrance.

You get Pokéballs really early in the game...
And you should report the glitches in the bugs forum.

Ecruteak city GYM is not bugged, it's a puzzle
