Hey there,
I am here to suggest/add more to this suggestion "Local Elections!" This idea suggests regional elections rather than... local elections... c.c
With routine elections done by the community, a president will be elected. He will have some basic authorities to rule the economy / citizens / Press Agency / accept or abandon citizens.
Economy;
Every city will have incomes and bills, for governing the city itself. All the workers working in the cities are also needed. So a president could not just change all the prices to "0" if the system would be made so that such an action would be prevented from being taken.
Accepting / Abandoning citizens;
I am going to create another thread in response to this idea. (look here for the thread
: http://pokemon3d.net/forum/threads/7335/ ) Simplified, people are intended to join "Rocket Team" and steal stuffs from people (item, poke, etc) and they may be abandoned from regions/cities. People may also become "Policeman" so that they can work for "Justice" and get the stolen poke/items from thiefs and lock them into the jails for some time.
