Trade system SUCKS!

So I decided to check out the trade system. I figured , ill just see what it looks like. So I click it, the game flashes, next thing I know, it says my geodude is being traded for a rattata. ARE YOU KINDING ME! I have played for 2 days for over 10 hours and this is what I get? GIVE ME MY GEODUDE BACK! Another thing, the audio is laggy at best. Randomly i'll get music for a bout 5-10 seconds, then it is gone. Playing this game is constant silence is kinda stupid.

I guess you are talking about WonderTrade:
There is an instruction that tells you how it works. You have to press a button that asks you if you want to do a WonderTrade or not. Then, you have to choose the Pokémon that you want to trade, you can press E here as well to cancel it. I have no idea how you can accidentally use WonderTrade.

As for the music, you have to give further information. Are you pressing the M button probably? Because that mutes the music.
Edit: Moved to Community Support.

With the music, it comes in and out in the start of a battle, end, but never wandering around. Ive tried the m button that you mentioned but it just seems to make it worse. The wondertrade flashed when I clicked then sent my geodude out. I was never given the option of selection.

Wonder trade is supposed to be random...

You either spammed all the buttons on your keyboard or your game lagged at 0 FPS screen update rate but more than that in game update rate (which would be the strangest thing I have ever heard when only a GUI gets rendered). I can tell you with 100% certainty that it asks you twice if you want to trade. If you are not reading any instructions, then that's your fault. You can even try again and not press any button this time.

And for the music, can you open the log.dat file and copy the last few lines here?

New comers always make the mistake of thinking "Wonder Trade" is the way to trade, and while you have traded a Geodude, many have mistakenly traded their starters, yet you are the only one who came to the forum and whine about something you didn't care too search or ask how it works.
Anyway, there are 3 ways to trade in P3D, the First is "Wondertrade" which you have already experienced.
The second is "Direct Trade" where you trade with a specific person.
and The third one is through the "GTS" which you earn in the City of Ecruteak.

and This is how you use the "Direct Trade", Press Q, Select PSS, Press A, Select the name of the player, then press Trade ( this is also how you battle another player)

Does it change the fact that I leveled it from a lvl 2 to a 20 and lost it due to a lack of information. Most games come with some kind of instructions rather than having the players make choices in the dark. Even the original pokemon silver/gold explained the trade system. To not be upset at hours of lost time would show how much i didn't value my time. I play this game to have fun, not get so pissed I wanna start smashing stuff. When I put effort toward something I expect results, not to get screwed over because of an oversight by the programmer.

There were clear instructions before the trade option...

What oversight? Also can you not see the "Indev" before the version number of the game? the game is not even in alpha stage. also when you are able to come to this forum to talk about how much it sucks, then you are also able to read the FAQ's and check the Wiki of the game before playing it, it's still 100% your fault.

Can you tell me what kind of information you would like to have to prevent this from happening?
Because right now, you have to press Q, select the option "Wondertrade", there it has an informative text about a Wondertrade is, you have to press "Yes", and then you have to select a Pokémon to trade. I don't know how you can possibly ignore all of that and tell me that there need to be more information.

i think the problem is that new players only see wonder trade when they open the PokeGear and think it is the only way to trade, maybe moving Direct trade to the main PokeGear screen would help with that.
Or maybe add the word "Random" to the details of wonder trade

The Direct Trade you are referring to is part of the PSS though.
And I actually took the description for Wondertrade right from the Pokémon X and Y games.

Maybe add the word "Random" to the details of wonder trade, it would help at least the ones who read, on another somewhat related note, new players think that the game can autosave when they read the message "Cannot create autosave" (i don't know how they understand that from the message), can you change that into something like "This game does not autosave) ?

When you press "Quit to menu" it asks you again if you want to quit, with the note that all unsaved data gets lost.
