[Indev 0.46.1] Not Playing Music

Hi. Yes, yes, i already checked everything. Music isn't muted, and my PC's volume is on. I wonder if this happens to anyone here. I saw no threads involving this situation. The thing is, that since version 0.45 the music from the game is not played. I went all like "oh well they'll fix it next week" , but i downloaded the newest version today and still can't play the music. The strange thing though, is that the pokemon's cry is played perfectly and also when i save my progress, it sounds good. Feel free to say the most obvious stuff, criticize and even insult (UPDATE) Reinstalled, deleted everything, blablabla, doesn't work. Downloaded 0.35 and it works just fine

Can you check your version of Windows Media Player?

You can do this by hitting Window + R > regedit > Enter and then traveling to this file: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\PlayerUpgrade

There should be three values. What does Playerversion say as Data?

Can you check your version of Windows Media Player?

There should be three values. What does Playerversion say as Data?

It say's Data 12,0,9200,16579

i have the same thing.Its impossible to fix. Even in the latest 0.46.1 version.

So sounds work fine but the music doesn't play? You've also checked your in-game settings to make sure that don't just have your settings set to have the music off? That would allow you to have the game non-muted but still not hear music. (I realize you said that you checked everything)

Could be. Maybe even no sound.

Mine seem to work fine even the version says 12,0,7601,18150 [ Window 7 with the most latest version ]

Maybe window 8 users can reproduce this bug.

Mine's Windows XP. WMP is always installed but still no sound and music . Tornado has tried to figure it out last time with Darkfire.

Yep, i do have windows 8.1, and nope, i have the Music setting at 100% in the game. I have no clue what's going on.

Your Windows version can affect what version of WMP you have installed. I have Win 8.1 and it works just fine. Another user also has 8.1 and it doesn't work.
