I have to disagree. EV's are more annoying to track. You have to make an entry after every single battle to keep track of them whether you're doing it via spreadsheet, a calculator, or freaking note pad. You only have to recheck IV's once every level or in some cases every other level (You can easily narrow them down to exact IV's by level ~25 if you use a calculator that allows data input for multiple levels.) But not knowing EV's makes it impossible to find the exact IV's. Whether the reason you don't know the EV's is because you forgot to write your gains down, or because it's a pokemon you got from wonder trade and you don't know what the other trainer was battling, not knowing EV's makes it impossible to know exact IV's. So a tab for EV's is kind of necessary for finding exact IV's, if they're for the purpose of hidden power or just knowing whether or not something is good breeding fodder. I'd be fine with having an EV tab added BEFORE an IV tab because I personally don't mind plugging all the numbers into a calculator like Metalkid's or Marrilands or Veekun.
I know you mentioned EV-reducing berries are a thing, but I haven't even found one of each kind yet, personally. (I only have Tomato, Hondew, and Grepa so far) Maybe I will find more in the future, but for the time being that isn't an option. Also, EV's aren't color-coded in the summaries. The colored stats are what stats the nature of the pokemon raises and/or lowers.
Note that I'm completely in favor of an IV tab being added, because that just streamlines the process of farming for desirable IV's. But I'd also want an EV tracker added for sake of convenience, being able to keep track of what stats you have EV's in for the sake of EV training without having to alt tab or manually write everything down.
