Duplicate Pokémon don't die due poison

Heey guys,
I really like the game!
My Whooper was poisoned in battle.
After he attacked (and defeated) his opponent, his HP reached zero.
however, Whooper still received exp. and was even able to start a new battle.
Also, HP wasn't drained while walking.
