I recorded a little preview of the Pokégear Radio on a potato.

Yes. They use the same music as the rest of the game.

As neat as this is, will you be including more music than whats available in the original game? It is a radio station after all and its not really a radio without a good variety of Pokemon midi music, just to set the mood of your travels.

why not add a radio station (channel) that read songs in an specific folder in pokemon 3D? in that way (letting the possibility of have the radio always on) we can have personalised music into the game

There are actually resource packs that use different music than the game. Most of songs are themed to some other game.

Now I'm looking forward to seeing how the music from different regions is handled. Will the entire world share stations? Or will each region have it's own stations? If so, will each region play only it's own music, or include music from other regions also?

I'm pretty sure it will work like in gsc, Kanto will have other stations than Johto got.
