It doesn't matter, computers aren't cheap as well and in my opinion faster outdated than consoles so you chose what to buy and what not

Or consoles are just never changing until a new upgraded one appears on the market.
Well, with the Steam Box coming, that will change, for this particular system, at least.

Steam Box is for me just another Computer Looking at consoles:maybe graphics isn't best but mainly you don't need to updgrade to play newest games in contrast to computer

You could very well build/buy a pc of around the 600 dollars and have about the same performance as a regular console but also have every feature which a pc has.
There is so much more to a PC than a console that it's hard to really compare.
