i think their should be a better way to change yer skin i kinda want it like x and y its easier and less of a hassle and i think itd be easier

I don't know how easy implementing clothing into the current skin system would be, but if you mean buying whole new skins, I would really like that.

Hrm, I think they are going to allow custom skins somewhere in the future, but to make them work on multiplayer, everyone needs to have the same skin files.

Maybe have a bunch of default skin sprites you can pick from when making a new game (going to a special NPC for those with a save) and having custom clothing or hairstyles you add to the sprite. Like in XY with the models being a basic "white/tanned/dark-skin boy/girl" and allowing you to change the model's hairstyle or clothing in stores. I'd presume that occurs as the clothes/hairstyle are overlayed ontop of the default character model, but can't see a way for sprites to do the same...hmm...

I've already tossed this idea around myself and I've implemented a rather basic version of a "skin vending machine" in my GameMode (which may or may not be released as a demo soon).
