Walking through stairs

I'm not sure whether this applies after surfing followed by immediately using said stairs, since it doesn't happen all the time but basically when I tried to go up i walked right through it instead. This occured to me in the isepath, one of the whirl islands and the font of slowpokes. I only have shots of the latter but it's the same altogether (the 3rd one was made from the inside).
(Excuse my Horsea; it just wanted to be onscreen so badly that I couldn't refuse)

This has been reported a few times before, but you should be able to walk out of the stairs from the way you came.

Yes that's true, it's nothing game-breaking or anything...well that's to be closed then i suppose
