Yes.
More animations and actual Pokemon movements shall be added as time goes.
However, the Dev team is rather small and I am not sure whether they have a proper animator so thing could stay lifeless for a while.

Well... that depends on the battle system.
And I am not sure if they are allowed to just take effects from the original games...

Yeah, copyright is a weird thing. Some stuff are and some stuff aren't.

It is more a practicality issue than a legal issue
the names are concepts, while the models and animations would require us programing based on what nintendo has made rather than programming our own ways to show nintendo's concepts
