I'm getting Pokémon X Version while my brother is getting Pokémon Y Version. We trade off every generation; in Generation VII I'll be getting the second game of the pair and he'll be getting the first.

Will take a while before you can actually find and use a proper emulator of that. However, it's worth it seeing as I won't have to spend 200-300 bucks (Console and game included) to play and simply have to wait a couple of months longer.

The 3DS emulator will be a little harder to create, but it will eventually be done. Which emulator name will get it first, DeSuMe or NoGBA? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z!!!!!!!!

An emulator could be a very long wait, and after that you still have to wait for the X and Y emulation. I played the HG and SS emulation a couple years back and even then after the emulator and emulation had been out of years there was still several very problematic bugs and save corruption issues. Not to mention you lose the comfort of handheld play and the access to online features such as dreamworld, wi-fi battles, etc.
