Can you still use the Summary screen to check and see if an Egg has a shiny Pokémon in it? I am having terrible luck with the Odd Egg right now.

Yeah, something is up, it looks like they patched it. I think I'm going to stop wasting my time on trying to get it now.

My situation:
Feraligatr with a lucky egg
another pokemon with exp share

After defeating a pokemon I get for without a pokemon that has exp share equipped my Feraligatr gets 1567 exp.
After defeating the same pokemon with a pokemon that has exp share equipped my Feraligatr gets 393 exp and the pokemon with exp share gets 2171 exp.

Is it supposed to be like this or should my Feraligatr get 783 exp instead?

Don't know if this is any help, but the devs said that they implemented the Gen5 exp system, which makes defeating pokemon gives you exp scaled to your pokemon's level compared to the opponent's. Off topic, but where did you get your lucky egg? I have a bad habit of missing things...

Both 1567 and 393 is the exp I get after the update. So it has nothing to do with what you've said.

You can get the Lucky Egg by catching a Chansey(5% chance).

i'm not exactly sure what you are saying, but, yes ho-oh is very hard to catch. (i got it done though )

man, the way that poisoned pokemon take damage makes it almost impossible to make it through the elite 4

No it isn't. I wasted 1 ball on ho-oh. No, didn't use a Masterball.

The reason it is so hard to catch is because it crashes at random times and some moves don't work how they should. I caught it with 1 ball too
