No, NeverUsed, UnderUsed, ect. are just names.

They are based on how often poeple choose to use the Pokemon in competitive battle

Yup yup so there is very strong pokemons in lower tiers but the are simply more "situational". This is why saying that every lower tier pokemons are "bad" isn't an accurate way to see it. There is pokemons with drastically low raw stats but it's not the case of ampharos.

Ampharos is slow, and OU (Standard battles) has A LOT of Speed.

Absol, Ampharos and Mawile are weak. But now Mega Mawile will be OP.

Trick room ampharos is awesome, and so is trick room absol. Personally, I'm not a competitive player, but both pokemon even without trick room were enough to be part of my team. I do realize that both of them are on the less used side of competitive battles, but there's no need to buff them. I agree on mawile though . I just don't want it to be too OP, because that would still be out of balance.

I know it will be: More defences, Fairy Type, Huge Power and Swords Dance, just don't give her Drain Kiss, this thing says that GameFreak have to make Mega Cofagrigus because of Mummy and Will-o-Wisp that would counter her. But I think Mega Garchomp can beat her with STAB Earthquake, if the defence buff is high, it will need sandstorm, and that makes me want Mega Tyranitar, I never liked Hippowdon.

They simply did it so the community would shut up about it! (Yup, that is what I tell myself.
