So I'm expecting that with the likely release of DLC/Z/"Typhoon Sapphire" and "Magma Ruby", there will likely be more Mega Evos, and perhaps even more new Pokemon. I STILL want a Mega Forme for the lesser Dialga of the lesser timelines, but thankfully I have my own Mega Evo, so it's not a great concern.
Speaking of Mega Evos, Mawile has possibly one of the most overpowered Mega Evos in the game: with the ultimate defensive type of the time, as well as, with Huge Power added, the ROCKING stat total of 635! Still, it receives few STAB boosted moves from what I've seen, but after adding it's variety of other moves, and the fact that the one STAB Atk move I know it gets is 80 power, that's pretty good, and also it's Base Stats almost go solely to stats it can utilize. With a great 125 base Defense coupled with the ULTIMATE defensive typing, this works greatly, and it returns the minimal damage with a MASSIVE 210 power, the current highest in the game, beating Black Kyurem and even Mega Mewtwo X. However, it's Speed doesn't do it any favors, still retaining it's pathetic 50 speed. This can be covered with Sucker Punch, which is great, but this only works in the case of a pokemon using a direct damaging attack. This isn't too terrible, considering it has a more solid Sp. Def, at 95, as well as it's great Def. The greater problem is it's miniscule HP, still at only 50. This doesn't benefit it's high Defense, but it can still make do. Overall, Mega Mawile seems like a great Pokemon. We'll see how Smogon rates it in the 6th Gen meta, but I predict Mawile may see light in Overused this Gen.
