Just wanting to know how or if the other starter Pokemon will be implemented?
And as for Pokemon that evolve by trade, will that still be in effect? I have friends to trade with, but i never really liked how i had to do that.

I think it is a little soon at the moment to think of those things. Kinda have to get the ball rolling first and I think it is close to that point with the Map Editor looking good too.

It is going to be a long time from now, years most likely, but the other regions are going to eventually be implemented into the game. With the additional regions, I assume additional starters will be added into the game play somehow. As for the evolution by trading, I imagine it would still exist but hopefully the player can at least trade between his/her other save files. I always hated evolution by trading, especially since no one seemed willing to trade or they would keep the Pokemon that had evolved for them self rather than trading back.

would be fun if when you get to the next region and you find the new professors house you have to do a little sidequest and you can earn one starter pokemon

these are current concrete plans:
-port gold and silver version to the PC on this engine, with a few changes if neceessary
-make it coopable for up to 4 players
-its not an MMO
-allow mods

everything else is a bridge we will cross when we get there, its all open to discussion though
