Violet City lag

I made this account just so I can get some help because it seems that nobody is looking at the posts on the Indie DB site. But yeah there is incredible lag once I enter Violet City and it makes it almost unplayable. I can't even line my character up just to get passed the ledges by the Pokemon Center. This is very frustrating and I've turned down all my settings but to no avail. Can someone help me out? I really think this game is a good idea and really want the creator to finish it with no issues whatsoever. So if anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated.

Maybe you´re runing to many other programms? How much RAM do you have and which processor? On my laptop it doesn´t lag... Do you have low FPS on other maps? (FPS under 50?)
And moved this to community support, because it isn´t a bug.

Another part of the lag could be your graphics. Make sure your graphics card is at full acceleration and like DaMick said make sure you don't have other programs running. This should fix your lag.

I don't run any programs at all. Ok I check and it seems that my FPS runs at 60 when I'm inside the poke center in violet city but goes to 0 once I'm outside. Plus I have 2.00 GB of RAM.

You could always try to run the disk cleaner that comes with your computer that will free up space on your hard drive and should reduce the lag by a bit.

Well that seems to be a really obvious case with lag. Since the Pokemon Center is in every town and there are not a lot of parts to it you are less likely to lag. Since Violet City is so much bigger than a Pokemon Center you are going to lag more than if you are in Pokemon Center. Unfortunately i do not know how to fix this problem than try to tweak some of the settings.

I already said that I tweaked with the settings. Idk what else to do. I really like this project and I guess I'll have to wait to see if these can be fixed in the upcoming update. (I hope) but thanks for trying to help me and I hope this game comes out great.

Why do I keep hearing echos? I already did that. I'm running in low settings but for some reason it's only Violet City that gives me crap. I'll just uninstall this game and get it again once it's more stable and more than one gym leader.

hello again!! I was really excited with the new update for the game but it was short lived when I started the game, and once again still plagued with this terrible lag in Violet City. I'm beginning to lose hope of ever being able to play this game idk if it's my RAM, or the Win 8 OS. It's been giving me trouble with games ever since I got my new computer. So much for ever enjoying this game. But I guess I'll in for the long wait for Pokemon X and Y for they too have implemented 3D into their ever evolving game production and I will not have any trouble of playing it at all. It sucks that not everyone can play this game and hope this can be fixed somehow. A lot of people can't afford to game to their delight these days. kthanxbai~

If your computer is downloading things in the background without alerting you that may be the source of the lag. My computer has done updates on some of my programs without my authorization and it can cause an extreme amount of lag. Whatever it is, chances are it is something to do with whatever your computer is doing unless the fov is adjusted too high, I think that violet may be the biggest implemented town and if the entire town is being processed at once, it may create lag. Yes, I do know that you said that you adjusted the settings but it may have been overlooked.

this is consistent lag on the 1 map though.

I wouldn't know about any maps after Violet City because I CANNOT GET THROUGH VIOLET CITY!!! And as I've stated before the maps before it work perfectly fine. no lag, nothing. Even before I bothered to tone the settings down. All of this happened in VIOLET CITY. Idk how many times I have to freakin repeat myself. Also might as well delete this thread because it's pointless and nobody seems to know wth to do to help me. Plus I got rid of the stupid game. Ciao~

i have the same problem buti can move little bits at a time and sometimes i get good FPS this never happened to me befor the update 22.1 and now it does also when im in menue screens or when i talk to people in the game or go in buildings it goes to normal but when i go out side especiialy in violet city it lags terribly i wnat help with this please
