  • Due to the Syrian government committing war crimes on the Syrian Rebels, NATO forces are now debating whether to supply the rebels with arms or not. The Rebels have contacted the outside multiple times with desperate pleas.
  • Richard Snowden's father says he is "confident [his son] will return to the US."
  • US President Barack Obama is touring Africa to reignite relations and promote trade.
  • Former South African President Nelson Mandela is still in the hospital from a recurring lung infection. Outlook is not positive.
  • Thailand insurgent violence has increased. The government is now planning on building a wall between the 50 foot wide unprotected border between Thailand and peninsula Malaysia.
  • Indonesian farmers burning crops has caused a thick haze to cover Singapore and Malaysia.
