We expect people to be able to cheat....but we are going to make it as hard as possible to do

I know, I know and that's a good thing. Where would the daily give away be without being able to generate the Pokémon.

Then the GTS might clean itself up.... Some of the requests people make are just ...

Yup. There are of course a few other ways to do it, but this will stop the majority of hacked Pokemon and more importantly, it should stop people from accidentally having their parties deleted.
