Well its just up to you. Those rules were most likely made by Players that found the normal Nuzlocke Challenge was to easy for them. I use to Play all three ways. Not healing all together made it alot harder for me.

Just played pokemon lost silver 3D and as this site has no review section I figure this spot is as good a place as any to give my 2 cents on this game.

Oh. My. Fucking. God.
This game is shit. 100% pure SHIT. Don't waste your time.
It looks awful, is not scary at all, the controls suck and the entire fucking thing is a royal pain in the ass to set up. I wasted 1/2 an hour of my life just trying to figure out how to set up this steaming pile of excrement. Then I had to update it (you couldn't just give me the updated version in the first place?) And THEN I spent another 20 fucking minutes figuring out the controls. Now I've played my fair share of games with shitty controls but you guys take the cake. I mean, E for select? WTF?! Finally, there was the gameplay. Turns out all the trouble I went to was for about 5 mintes of eye rape. Ugh. This idea had so much goddamn potential but you guys fucked up. I haven't seen this much fail in one place since Aaron Barr tried to take on the Anonymous. Here's a hint, guys - a 3D game should allow the player to move diagonally. It's not hard. And the battle was in 3rd or 4th gen style. Wtf? This is a gen 2 game. As in, so damn old I could play it on my 4-AA-battery black-and-white gameboy. The style didn't fit, the sprites were all wrong and you fucked up the trainer card. The original lost silver was superior in every fathomable way.

Please don't make any more games. PLEASE.

So you played the short, 5 min mod made to show off the capabilities of the mod system.....and that immediately makes the entire game bad?
Lost silver was originally just a popular creepy pasta made many years ago.
It was supposed to be short and simple.

In the main game we specifically made it with 5th gen battle animations and move sets because we liked it that way.
If you really don't like it then we are sorry to hear that.
But don't rage and whine about it.
That is just childish......
Also:
You downloaded version 0.28 when there have been 6 full versions since then so getting a new update should have been expected, but you don't have to update to play Lost Silver
you could have just ignored the update and played the game.
