Due to how metronome works, it might be hard to replicate this bug but when metronome lands on rollout, rollout will occur once and then lock your Pokemon into doing one of its own moves in subsequent turns, as if that move is rollout. In my case, my Togepi is locked into using morning sun with seemingly infinite PP against a Lickitung that cannot out-damage the amount of healing morning sun does, and so I'm stuck until it faints from struggle recoil. I don't know how metronome-rollout works in licensed releases of Pokemon so I can't say which way to fix it but hopefully it can be replicated and figured out
