because i dont want to have to rip them from this lol
google couldnt find me a nice neat zip file of sounds to use

gen 4, 3 or 2 sounds could be acceptable for now but i'd prefer to use gen 5 so we can be consistent across all moves

Have you tried Ripping them directly from a ROM? If not I can try to rip them and make a neat .zip file. That is if you want me to.

if the game were to play the pokemon hit sound after an animation plays as part of the engine would you want to have it not play that automatically, so you can change every aspect of the animation or would it be too bothersome to put it in every animation yourself? i was just thinking it'd be a pretty easy way to add more sound to the game. it could just do it if an animation isnt set up, why am i even asking, lol?

My apologies, I put a little too much faith in the internet.

I plan to make it up to you however. I'm enclosing all the sound files extracted directly from the game.
They are in SSEQ format i believe however, so you'll have to somehow compile them into one sound.
Since these are all the sounds, that includes the music too.
I believe that one of the files wasn't able to be converted, however those were not move sounds if i remember correctly.

To you this might be dirty diamonds that just need refining

or they might be utter crap.

I spent a couple hours compiling this and i honestly don't know how to go to the next step.

I put it in .zip so hopefully that'll be okay

Note: each sseq has its bnk file and wave arc and what not. i haven't sorted the files in any way so they are in the original order as they were found in the game files and you'll have to sift through to see how they sound... sorry i couldnt get an end result product :/

EDIT:

I used a separate tool that does convert the waves into Midi format, there's still some refining needed to get that glorious end product you desire. but here's the link if you choose to go this route instead.

first off, i just realized i tagged you as DarkHouston, which is pretty embarrassing.

secondly, i was wondering if you could do anything at all with those sounds or if they were complete rubbish?
