1st: Messing around with tints and lights. I notice that it might be possible.Infact is to tint pokemon during battle. Well It might be a nice idea to tint them red when they are call or recall. Better yet. Tint them all colors and let the user/player decide on the color. I notice it was when it came to status.
2nd: I Remember this being apart of the original. But when shines appear. They would sparkle. So what I suggest is pretty much the same except. have them constantly sparkle. like small stars surrounding them coming from the ground in a clock wise manner.
If these have already been suggested then I'm sorry. But I couldn't find them if they was.

I like the tint idea, but maybe it could be in correlation with something else.

EXAMPLE: Your Pokemon don't like you today, so they all are tinted red. One of them, however, is green, so he likes you today.

Also: The sparkles thing would be nice, but some nut may call them vampires and start a whole thing about how twilight was terrible.

Just kidding, I think it would be a great addition to the in-game graphics, but there would have to be an option to turn them off (just in case)

I like the sparkle shinies and red-tint recall ideas. Would we have grey-tint if they fainted?

Possiably. but I would think it would be the same recall color when they faint. Maybe have emoticons during battle as well. Like when they do a critialhit. It does the ! above the one that does the crit and the pokemon that gets hit it does the mad one. we can even add one for knockouts or add a knockout animation.

In pokemon stadium the name given to a pokemon had an impact to the coloring of the pokemon. probably for personalization reasons.

Now i enjoy my shinies and their sparklezzz

but to have them constantly sparkle is just too fabulous

as much as i would love to say "shinies are truly, truly, truly Outrageous"

id like to keep my shinies to not be Twilight vampires. (except if i nickname one edward)

remember that the tint has nothing to do with the state of the pokemon but rather the "beam" from the pokeball
so like a regular pokeball emits red beams when launching and retrieving pokemon

now pokeball animations for different pokeballs i would like, like a beauty ball emitting a pinkish tint and confetti

Like the stickers from the D/P/P games :)
Yea something like that!
but what i'm talking about is the natural animation the balls have
the ones we dont make
i think animations for balls started as early as g/s i at least remember the master ball capturing pokemon within
a ring of stars before finally closing.

so not exactly stickers because thats player created, but close!
