How does the Daycare center work?

as i said, how does it work, is it by how many steps i take or by time i spend playing?
and as a suggestion, id like to see the XP bar in the daycare menu, that way i can actually see it leveling up!
(then before he levels i take him back so i don't have to pay as much )

The day care doesn't give exp it gives levels
so either a full level or nothing

I believe it is steps but not sure
check the old change logs and look around the site abit I'm sure its around here some where(if I find it i will tell you but I'm kinda busy

I thought it's 1 XP for every step I take...
