Crash [Indev 0.54.2] Crash on Battle Load

Game froze and then crashed while walking around route 30 and having a battle start.

What I expected to happen:
Battle to start as normal.

What actually happened:
Battle start animation filled the screen but then it stayed black and the program froze.

I did not get one - technically it was a freeze that completely killed the game and forced me to alt-crtl-delete and kill the program - I was calling it a crash generically because that was the end result. Have not had it happen since that one time.
