hamachi not work for a server??

We both followed the steps given in the FAQ, We both had Hamachi set up correctly (like i could see him in the Himachi thing) and then when we went into the Game, I couldnt connect to him.

You sure you copied the ipv4 address?
Is one of the lights in Hamachi a different color other than green?

Ok, what was the problem that occurred? When did the error occur?
As an example: You were both in cherrygrove center, one of you hosted and the other tried to connect, and then....
