Destroyed my game save with patch.

Describe the bug you experienced here. I tried to install the save patch For pokemon 3d after continously trying to find ways to save the game everyone seems to be able to save the game so i thought i would give it a shot. Im not a computer genius and attempted to do it myself because i dont think gamejolt is going to fix this problem anytime soon. Here's what happened (see screenshot) now i believe i destroyed by game save thanks alot gamejolt Ill probably end up having to restart from the beginning to be able to save again.

What I expected to happen: the game to save after installing patch

What actually happened: game didn't save made it worse

Steps to reproduce:
1. ... install the patch (doesnt work)
2. ...attempt to save the game (yes attempt)
...

...there is no such thing as a save patch. The saving issue has to be fixed on GameJolt's end, there's nothing we can do about it. I'm willing to bet you just installed something malicious.

Where are you getting this alleged save patch?

Ah ok that makes much more sense. You'd have to ask the creator of the patch for help.

I didn't expect it to went so far as to go into the official channel Lucky nothing bad happens yet. You have been mislead by the message. Don't worry.

Your save is never corrupted to start with, that is the default message when saving fails as it is unable to upload to gamejolt server. The Gamejolt server is still down so it will display the same misleading message. The patch does one more extra stuff for you, it makes a backup of your gamejolt save everytime you load your save.

There is a master reset for all backup save, just delete that folder away and it resets everything back to default gamejolt server save. No permanent damage have been done to your save since it doesn't upload to gamejolt server.

Did you even try loading your save again?
Because if you did, you would have noticed that despite that message, it actually managed to save the game (via backup save).
So no, your save has not been destroyed.
