Actually it is possible to get them if you have a move to steal Kolben tower npc pokemon stones

Some good moves like Covet.

Even if you get those though, it's impossible to Mega Evolve right now.

Speaking of megastones, I already have a handful of them, could have used it as a currency to trade rare stuff
