LAN issues

Hey, i know there has been hundreds of these,but i'm still having an issue. i went through all the steps from the tutorial, but neither my guest nor i can join the LAN server. any help/advice is welcome, thanks

Try host using http://pokemon3d.net/forum/resources/153/
It should be easier.
