I've been trying to breed hidden abilities into pokemons without hidden abilities for a while now, and since I have no idea if the mechanic is different or I'm simply in an unlucky strike, I'd rather ask the question directly.
After I searched the board about it, I found a few topics on breeding hidden abilities, but the best answer I found is "It works like in the original game".
So my question is, which original game? This mechanic has been changed and overauled since the last two gens... Is it;
A. Like in generation V (1), where only females could pass their hidden ability if they have it, at a 60% chances if bred with a pokemon from the same egg group (Ditto excluded).
B. Like in generation V (2), where it is 80% chances to be passed by the female if she has a hidden ability and bred with a male of the same egg group, and only 60% if bred with a Ditto.
or
C. Generation VI, 80% chances to be passed by a female with the hidden ability breeding with the same egg group, 60% chances if bred with a Ditto, Genderless/Males can still pass it if bred with Ditto, and breeding a Male with a hidden ability of the same egg group with a female with no hidden ability or a ditto resulting in 20% chances to get an offspring which is either the same as the Male's (if bred with ditto) or the specie of the female but with hidden ability instead of the regular (if bred with a non-hidden ability female of another specie, but sharing the same egg group).
