Can't use commands in my own server

I'm new to this game, why can't I use commands in my own server? (the game tell me that i have no permission)

For official server client:
/list add operators <your name>

This will allow yourself to use command in-game.

For unofficial server client: ( From download button )
/op <your name>

I tried both but the server tell me that i have no permission even for this two commands o.o
