Offline Server?

I have setup a server for me and my brother to play on, and we can both connect, but when we do, we are constantly getting disconnected from the GameJolt server every ~30 seconds after connecting, and then not able to relogin, and our internet connection is fine, in terms of not being out/down. (that is not what this thread is about, but if you have a solution I would love to hear it) I was wondering if there was a possible way to host a server that was only available to LAN, and did not require signing into the GameJolt server.

I am also experiencing issues with GameJolt; I think it's a problem on GameJolt's end.
