Raikou Or Zapdos

ive done my research and I think I i would go with Zapdos, but which do you guys think is better? they both almost have the exact same stats. but one flies and the other doesn't.

Zapdos because a ground type can easy defeat Raikou,and Zapdos can learn Rock smash,that can be used for defeat Rock and ice types

He can cath both,but i think he will not want use the both in a Team.

i have caught both, but there is no point in using both. i got Raikou a long time ago but zapdos seems much better. in my opinion. maybe because i like elemental flying types.

Zapdos can learn rock smash.... Raikou can learn Aura Sphere... I know which one I want more, especially because these two pokemon aren't physical attackers. Not only that but add shadowball and weatherball to raikou's movepool.
