custom pokemon sprites

I think this is something I could probably do on my own but I was wondering if it could possible to make a custome pokemon sprites resource. like cosplay pikachu instead of the normal pikachu sprite and other such things, and if this is something I can do on my own maybe just a quick explanation how would suffice

You are welcome to make it happen.

You will need to know the basic template where it must be in the proper square grid.

You might also require to make sure that the background is transparent else a white border will appear.
