I try to save a fresh new map, but it will not save for some reason.

(I am working on a warp access in my room that will take me into a gate and the gate will transport me to "Hell". In "Hell" there will be other access points where I can create more maps and literally "Go through Hell" to access them.)

are you saving it in the same maps folder that the pokeditor is with?

No, I am saving the map into a different folder labeled "mods" so I don't alter the game. I'm guessing that's what I did wrong, huh?

When i mod i copy the entire pokemon 3d folder and all it's contents and rename it so that way I can map edit in that folder without affecting anything else

Yeah, I just do it in a separate folder so i don't have to rename it... i just switch it out.

But, consider this solved, Apparently it editor will only save to the maps folder.

yeah sorry, i made the save/load code work off the back of nilllzz's load code, which is meant only to load game maps the game in the maps folder. it can be made to save and load anywhere, but i havent worked on the editor for a week or so

i've got some big mod related things to work on in the engine but i'm totally going to improve it. i know its kinda bad atm

you can make a mods folder inside your maps folder to do the same thing you were doing, it just has to be a subfolder of that p3d install's maps folder. it isnt very clear at first :\
