congratz! i got a shiny cleffa, but it only took me 5 min.
just do this:

1. save in front of daycare.
2. get the egg
3. deposit into GTS to see what it is (or just use PC to hear cries)
4. if it isnt what you want keep doing 1-4.
5. if it is, withdraw.
6. hatch.
7. TA-DA!

(also, mine had a shiny tag before it hatched ;3)

It's good to know that you can tell if a Pokemon is shiny before it hatches still

not every different persons game, if you save, it has like 8 different possibilities
