What If They Dont Show The Generation 6 Starter Evolutions Or Typings So Its A Mystery?

I mean this sounds like a bit of a stretch but it would be extremely interesting and unexpected surprise for people, I mean it leaves the suspense of wanting to evolve your starter throughtout the main game and getting excited about it? I mean when was the last time you didn't know what something evolved into until it happened? Generation 1? Generation 2? I mean im sort of for it the minute I saw the starters I wanted froakie but in the back of my mind as a competitive player, im like "well what if its typing is weak or fennekin is fire/psychic or chespin is grass/dark"? which really spoils the fun of starting a whole new adventure. Which this one seems like its going to be one of the biggest with the most new stuff coming to pokemon. Who would've expected gamefreak to give us in battle evolution? Any thoughts?

Ya, this one looks like its going to be the best one yet. Also, would you want to try playing co-op with me when x and y come out?

It would indeed make things more interesting, but I think they may reveal it sooner or later anyway or someone finds a leak and reveals it. We'll see how it goes. X and Y looks great however I'll be waiting until an English ROM appears. :3

ohh definitely, im always looking for people to play with just have to change my internet back, when it comes so we can play and I can get that torchic, which I recommend not using it in main game and save it for to EV train it for competitive use

Ya, I'm definitely getting that torchic. And we should open up a private conversation do we could contact each other when we're ready to play co-op

What if that torchic has a nature you don't want?

If someone could enlighten me, what would be a good nature for torchic and why?
Blaziken has a base stat of 120 in att and is thus a physical attacker but also has a nice 110 base stat on Sp.att, its def and sp.def are both at a 70 base and aren't its strong points and normally an Adamant nature (+10% att -10% Sp.att) would do fine for a physical attacker, however, for Blaziken it doesn't seem to be the greatest thing. To me either Naught (+10% att -10%Sp.def) or Lonely (+10% att -10% def) seems more fitting to me since you'll also be able to use a nice special attack move in Blaziken's Move-set, but then again, Blaziken is mainly Physicial and that is what you should focus on.
A blaziken with 31 IVs in attack and no EVs without any nature that increases or decreases a stat, will have 276 (245 if 0 IVs) Attack, if you add 10% of 276 to that you would reach: 303 (With 31 IVs) and 269 (with 0 IVs)
That is quite a different and if you were to add EVs to that, oh man. Lonely nature, 31 IVs in attack and 252 EVs in att it reaches 373 Attack. Now, THAT will do some nice damage.

Sorry for explaining in a horrible manner but I hope you understand.

You lost me when you started talking about IVs and EVs
Okay, IVs are the genetics of a Pokémon, each stat has an IV range from 1 to 31, the higher the better. Because the higher the IV, the better that certain stat is.

EVs are like stat experience. Every Pokémon awards 1, 2 or 3 EVs in a certain stat (You can see which Pokémon gives which EV on Bulpedia) and when you get 4 EV in 1 certain stat, that stat is raised by 1. In 1 stat you can have a max of 255 EVs and 508 EVs overall.
