Anyone have an opinion? A problem? A hope? Just downright hate it for no reason?
Fairy type is okay, I guess.
I just don't see how it could defeat a freaking dragon. xD Imagine.
Jigglypuff vs Salamence.
Jigglypuff used <Inser Fairy-Type move here>.
It's super effective!

Salamence lost 50% of its HP.
Salamence is intimidated!

xD.......

They say you can't judge a book by it's cover. Like it may be cute, but it is tough opponent as it can be to it's fullest potential.

I don't care that fairy is superaffective to dragons. That's pokemon logic, it's like having a skitty breed with a wailord or muk breed with gardivior, or even much stranger a zangoose breeding a seviper even though they're considered to be RIVALS. Pokemon's sense of logic is bizarre in it's own way. Some people may dislike it because of weird reasons like that, or dislike it cause fairy sounds too cutesy(you know what there's alot cute pokemon, the cool, the bizarre, and the ugly but that's everyone's opinion). What I think about the typing, I'll give fairy a shot, it'll be my favorite typing along with dark type. :3 Normally I'm not a big fan of fairies, but in pokemon I love pink pokemon. x3

There's a summary on the cover, though. ;)

I've had my fair share of Pokémon logics wtfs. Like Pikachu with surf! Though, that is kind of amazing in its own way. xD

It's base on the anime and the game of pokemon yellow where, if you have pikachu that knows surf you get to play a minigame where you control your pikachu to surf around on the surfboard. Not only that you get a special animation of pikachu riding on a surfboard same for pokemon gold(not heartgold), pokemon silver(or soulsilver), and pokemon crystal.

I love the sound of Fairy Type the more I think about it, and I'm glad there's FINALLY a new Type.

Pokemon that I'm confident will be retyped as:
Wigglytuff/Clefairy/Clefable/Togepi: Nrm/Fry
Smoochum/Jynx: Ice/Fry
Ledyba/Ledian/Volbeat/Illumise Bug/Fry
Togetic/Togekiss: Fry/Fly
Azumarill/Luvdisc/Lumineon/Phione/Manaphy: Wtr/Fry
Hoppip/Skiploom/Jumpluff/Celebi/Cherubi/Cherrim/Petilil/Lilligant: Grs/Fry
Misdreavus/Mismagius: Ghs/Fry
Mawile/Jirachi: Stl/Fry, Hopefully Mawile will be Stl/Drk instead!
Latios/Latias: Drg/Fry (Just speculation, don't get angry! Judging by appearance and Sig Moves)
Chimecho/Chingling/Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf/Cresselia: Psy/Fry
Victini: Fry/Fire
Meloetta: Fry/Psy or Fry/Fgh

Personally, I'm looking forward to it. :)
But people exaggerate. Just because spheal is 2X effective against salamence, it doesn't mean it can KO it. :p Same goes for jigglypuff I think. ;)

I can't wait to see what a Dragon/Fairy type Pokémon will look like. It'll undoubtedly be interesting.
