im having this same issue too on Windows 10 for some reason, Recently i had to get a new pc due to the old one being well... busted...
and this one is top notch so i dont know why its causing it..
It bothers a bit but needs to be looked into.

Probably due to the outdated XNA Framework. It doesn't support windows 10 properly. Some pipeline files doesn't work on windows 10 either.

ah thats why, anyway to update the core files to be compatible with windows 10?
if any, i think i may have to see if possible for my pc to revert back to windows 7. i liked that format much better...

oh hey i ended up fixing it, i had to change the PhysX Processor to my graphic cards. which is Geforce GTX 960M.
it acts up if Auto-Select was selected. so theres the fix~

If that solves it, you go just press your windows button, type in NVIDIA Control Panel and open it, then you select 'set PhysX Configuration' (it's under 3D settings) and then you choose your GPU, the 920M : D

But this could mess with your battery life. If it does, what I think, it'll enable your dedicated GPU at all times ._. so only enable that if you play pkm3D
